Community Health Alliance continues to expand its continuum of addiction treatment services with the addition of a 3.7 Medical Detox Program.
Medical detox is often the first step in treatment for individuals experiencing physical dependence on alcohol or other substances. Withdrawal can be uncomfortable and, in some cases, medically serious. A medically monitored detox program provides the clinical support needed to help individuals withdraw safely while preparing for ongoing treatment and recovery.
A 3.7 Medically Monitored Intensive Inpatient Withdrawal Management Program provides 24-hour medical monitoring and clinical care for individuals withdrawing from alcohol and other substances.
This level of care is intended for individuals who require medical supervision throughout the withdrawal process but do not require hospital-level services. Physicians, nurses, and clinical staff monitor patients around the clock, helping manage withdrawal symptoms while providing support in a safe, structured setting.
Patients admitted to the Medical Detox Program can expect:
Detox is not a standalone treatment for addiction. Instead, it serves as the first phase of recovery by helping individuals safely stabilize before transitioning into residential treatment, outpatient services, medication-assisted treatment, counseling, or other recovery supports based on their individual needs.
The addition of Medical Detox further strengthens Community Health Alliance’s addiction treatment services, allowing more individuals to access care at the level most appropriate for their needs while remaining connected within one continuum of care.
Community Health Alliance also offers expanded admissions hours:
